A young girl was driving a car along with her father.On their way, they came upon a heavy rains & storm.
On seeing bad weather conditions, girl asked her father, “What should I do?”
He said, “Keep driving, don’t stop.”
Cars next to her now began to pull over to the side of the road and wait, as the storm was turning out to be worse.
“What should I do ?” The girl asked her father again.
“Keep driving, don’t stop”, father replied.
On going further for few miles, she noticed that even huge vehicles were also pulling over to the sides of road, due to extreme weather conditions.
She told her dad, “I must pull over now, as I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and besides everyone else is pulling over now!”
Her father said to her again, “Don’t give up, just keep driving!”
Now the storm was at it’s terrible worst, but she kept on moving and did not stopped driving.
Soon she could see a bit more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on a dry region, and the sun was shining brightly over the clear sky.
Her father said, “Now you can pull over and get out of the car!”
Girl asked surprisingly, “But why now?”
Father said “My dear, when you go out now, look back at all the people that gave up behind and are still suffering in the storm, you would realize that, it is just because you never gave up on your driving progress, storm is now over for you.”
This story is indeed a lesson for anyone, who is going through “hard times”.Isn’t it ? 🙂
Moral:
During difficult times in life, just because everyone else gave up, even the strongest ones, you shouldn’t give up.
If you keep on going, soon days will change and happier moments will make a come back in your life.
Remember difficult times, are just like washing machines, the twist & turn us upside down but, ultimately we come out of them as cleaner & better. 🙂
